Kosmodehealth was featured in the Singapore Discover Center's latest permanent exhibition Sandbox, for the waste-stream valorisation application of its core plant extraction technology.
Launched on 20 November 2021 by Senior Minister of State for Defence Mr Heng Chee How, the gallery pays tribute to Singapore's spirit of entrepreneurship as the nation braved adversities to emerge as a key player in our current global economy.
Florence Leong, CEO and Co-founder of KosmodeHealth, is featured in two exhibits - "Bedrock of Our Nation", which explains how Singaporeans are constantly innovating with an enterprising spirit as they adopt new technologies and forge new paths in their respective industries; and "Archetype Me", an interactive exhibit where visitors can discover which enterprising traits they share with Singapore’s entrepreneurs, enterprises, and start-up founders.
On contributing to food security through the application of the company's extraction technology, Florence Leong said, "In the longer run, I hope to be able to help alleviate global hunger by exporting our expertise to countries with large amounts of food-processing waste streams."
